As spring is nearly upon us it seems like the right time to start the gardening club. On the 27th March we are having tea and biscuits at 10.30am in the dining room to discuss our ideas and what we would like to achieve.We will have a walk around the garden and make a list of what needs doing. All welcome. If you are unable to attend please jot down your ideas on the poster in reception.
4th March there will be a residents meeting with Debbie in the lounge.
Colin Jackson also will be visiting for entertainment on the 4th at 2pm.
Maurice will be playing the keyboard at 10.30am on Tuesday 18th.
Thurday 13th March we have a trip to Risley Village Hall for Bingo and coffee leaving at 10am.
The staff are going to be starting a Life Book for each resident, this will help us have a better understanding of each person as we want to develop a more person centered approach to our care. With this in mind we would really appreciate any information on each resident, so if any relatives or friends could help with photos or where residents liked going on holiday or what their job was etc. Thank you.
Staff training this month will be Tissue Viability, Health and Safety and Principles of Dementia Care.
