The winter months are passing and the evenings are becoming lighter with the new
buds of spring appearing in the garden. So let us

Cupid is in the air during February and this month we will craft items for our Valentine display. We will have-a-go at experimenting with watercolour paint and using decoupage on canvas frames. We will also begin constructing fabric wreaths for the forthcoming Spring. Residents, family, friends and sta are all welcome and details of our sessions can be found in the main corridor.
We hope you enjoy the variety of entertainment we have at the Grange this month. We have the return of two of your favourite entertainers; Johnny Victory and Russell Weaver. Johnny Victory will be performing his 1920’s review so be sure to join him in the dining room after lunch and we also welcome Tanya Adele who returns with an afternoon of classic Motown songs on Monday 13th. We like to o er a platform to new performers and on Tuesday 28th we extend a big Grange welcome to Konnor Martin on his first visit.
We look forward to a busy month ahead and residents, family, friends and sta are always welcome during the entertainment.
Papa John enjoys his fortnightly visits to rehearse with our singing group, The Elderberries. Details of our next concert will be displayed on the notice board and take place before Easter.
Vincent is now nine years old and has raised money towards the Residents Fund for two years by growing and selling plants on our stall by the main door. He is currently looking forward to planting summer bulbs including anemone, oxalis, triteleia, dahlia and gladiolus which will be for sale from June onwards.
Vincent would be grateful for any plastic plant pots which are large enough for bulbs and he looks forward to your continued support which is very much appreciated. Thank you.
We have three birthdays at the Grange during
February and everyone would like to wish
Katheen on the 4th, Keith on the 26th and David on the 27th many happy returns. We hope you enjoy your special days.
We would like to welcome Michelle and Laura to the Care Team, Steve to maintenance, Mandy to the Domestic Team and Rowan to the Kitchen Team. We hope you will all be very happy at the Grange.
