Family Tree Activity
Thank you to the many residents currently taking part in the Family Tree activity. We have enjoyed putting names and places together and have started to create ‘Life History’ books. We have found parents, grandparents and great-grandparents in England, Wales and Scotland with some research dating back to the 1770s. If you would like to join this reminiscence activity please see Shirley who will be happy to help and advise how we can begin your personal adventure.
Dates for your Diary
On the afternoons of Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th August we have entertainment in the courtyard from 2pm.
Grange favourite, Johnny Victory, will be singing songs from the 50s and 60s and we welcome the return of Jayne Darling. Jayne specialises in 1940s entertainment and performs at events across the UK and Europe.
We look forward to their visits and extend a warm Grange welcome to both entertainers.
August Birthdays
This month we celebrate three birthdays at the Grange and send best wishes to Betty S on the 8th August, Paul on the 17th and Isobel on the 27th. Everyone at the Grange send their best wishes and hope you enjoy your special days.
