Some exciting news, we have learnt that Cyril will be recieving the AWARD OF THE LEGION D' HONNEUR. The government of France advised the MOD, it wishes to award this award to all surviving veterans, not only of the Normandy landings, but also of the wider battle for Normandy, the invasion of Provence, the liberation of Paris and the Liberation of France. DURING THE MONTH OF JUNE CQC CAME AND INSPECTED THE GRANGE. WE HAVE RECIEVED THE REPORT AND WE ARE PLEASED TO INFORM EVERYONE WE HAVE AGAIN ACHIEVED ALL STANDARDS REQUIRED. During June we continue to make a reminiscence wall in the 'quiet lounge'. We would be grateful for ideas and contributions from family and friends. The St Georges Day celebrations proved to be a huge success, thank you to all who helped and for the wonderful buffet tea. Plans are well underway for our summer fayre on 21st June at 2.30pm.
