Armchair Travel
Thank you for your suggestions regarding our Armchair Travel activity. We have received requests for several holiday destinations including Mexico, Spain and the Greek Islands. Details of our next adventure will feature in forthcoming newsletters.

Monthly Quiz
We had a tremendous response to our monthly quiz with reigning champion Terry gaining top marks. We must mention Alan B, Ernest and Sheila for taking part in the quiz and making this such a close-run contest. All are only one point behind Terry at the moment!
‘Team Dorothy and Miriam’ and ‘Team Gwen, Betty, Jean, Kathleen and Kath’ thoroughly enjoyed the team event which took place in the lounge. Well done to all those who took part.
RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch
Thank you to residents for taking part in the bird count for the RSPB this year. In keeping with the awful weather we have experienced over the past few weeks the actual weekend of the nationwide bird count was very dismal and gloomy. However we were able to advise the RSPB the birds visiting our garden were mainly woodpigeon and magpie. Our information will help the RSPB to see the decline or growth of popular birds.
Birthdays
We have five birthdays this month with Noreen on the 14th, Alan B on the 19th, Miriam on the 28th, Jean on the 29th and Margaret S on the 30th.
Everyone at the Grange send their best wishes to you all and hope you enjoy your special days.
Sunday 29th March
In the early hours of Sunday the 29th the clocks will change as we enter British Summer Time. The clocks will go forward an hour. While we lose an hour in bed we look forward to longer daylight and the promise of better weather.
