Sincere thanks to everyone for making our cheese and wine night a great success. With Majestic Wines giving an informative explanation on the variety of wines and champagnes and 12 different varieties of cheeses from Hartington cheese shop a good night was had by all! Our raffle raised £137.00 for our residents fund, so thank you again for your support. We are hoping to have a similar event later on in the year.
We are currently producing Life History Books for all residents and would be grateful for any photographs, newspaper clippings which would enrich individual albums. Please see Shirley or Tracey for further information. We are also appealing for donations of wool, tiered cake stands and novelty teapots for use during activities. Please see Shirley. Thank you.
The gardens are beginning to burst into life. We have a lovely garden and are hoping for a warm evening as we are going to be holding a 'Last Night of The Proms' with picnics and a BBQ. Of course the 'Prom' will be in the afternoon with the orchestra being Long Eaton Silver Band. We will notify you of the date in due course.

We are also pleased to announce The Grange has recieved a Dignity in Care Award from Derbyshire county council in recognition of work to promote dignity and respect. This is a wonderful achievement and a true reflection of the staff's hard work and dedication at The Grange.
The Grange is also offering Home Care support for people who are unsure or not ready for permanent residential care. We offer, respite care, companionship, sitting services, nightcare and 24hour care. Please see Caroline, Vicki or Tracey for more information.
