While we look forward to our seaside spectacular on Wednesday we do hope you all had a lovely time at our annual Summer Fayre. The sun came out to join us on a perfect afternoon and it was nice to see so many family, friends and staff supporting the event. Shirley would like to thank all those who assisted her throughout the day helping to set and man the stalls and games. Thanks to Debbie for the light refreshments, to Dave and Valerie for your help with the bbq, to Louise for helping with the fundraising challenge and to Johnny Victory for a fantastic afternoon of entertainment. Grace raised a few pennies under £40 for her custard pie challenge and finally Keith you are a star! Your hair-raising challenge raised £200 in sponsorship..thank you so much. At the moment the total raised stands at a fantastic £1093.40 towards the Resident’s Fund which will make such a difference to the entertainment and activities Shirley is able to provide. Thank you all for your continued support.
Sadly our fancy dress fundraising carwash had to be cancelled due to the awful weather. However the event will be rescheduled and details posted on the main noticeboard as soon as possible.
July Birthdays
This month we send the very best of birthday wishes to Ernest on the 2nd and Betty on the 4th July.

Wednesday 3rd. ART at the HeART Seaside Spectacular showcasing the arts and crafts you have created with textile artist Karen Herrick and Shirley. Entertainment, activities and a visit from the Mayor. 2-4pm
Wednesday 10th We welcome ‘Ukulele Dave’ on his first visit to the Grange. Join him in the main lounge from 2pm
Thursday 18th Alice makes a welcome return to entertain everyone in the main lounge from 2pm
Thursday 25th Gentle country sounds from C.K. Cody in the main lounge from 2pm.
