GRANGE GAZETTE

DECEMBER 2019 EDITION

We welcome you to our

CHRISTMAS FAYRE

on

SATURDAY 7th DECEMBER

2-4pm

Singing Santa, many stalls and games,

tombola, cakes, light refreshments, hot festive rolls, unique gifts from the ladies of Aladdin’s Cave and our grand raffle draw.

All proceeds to the Resident’s Fund

We have a busy festive season ahead which begins at the end of November with a visit from Father Christmas.  Our Christmas Fayre takes place on Saturday 7th December this year and we hope you will enjoy a lovely afternoon with relatives, friends and staff supporting the Grange. Be sure to arrive early and join the festivities with the arrival of Father Christmas who will sing in the main lounge. The Grand Raffle draw will take place at the close of the fayre and is always a highlight of the event.

Our friends at the Holiday Inn have offered parking in their ‘ADDITIONAL PARKING’ area for the duration of the event.  They have requested we use this parking area because it is a busy time at the hotel and they have a high number of guests attending their own Christmas events. Please remember to register your vehicle on the hotel reception desk ‘Parking Eye’ system avoid to an automatic parking fine and obtain the barrier code.

All money raised is solely for the Resident’s Fund to provide activities and entertainment for all.

We look forward to seeing you on the day.

CHRISTMAS DAY LUNCH

If any friends or family would like to join the Grange for dinner on Christmas Day please see Caroline or Lorraine who will ensure the kitchen are aware of extra visitors. We would be grateful for a contribution towards the Resident’s Fund and thank you in anticipation of your support.

DECEMBER BIRTHDAYS

This month we have three birthdays with Sheila celebrating on the 8th, Alan on the 18th and Margaret B on the 28th.  Everyone at the Grange send their best wishes and hope you enjoy your special days.

2019 QUIZ RESULT

We have a final quiz sheet to decide the winner of this year’s trophy.  Copies will be available from Shirley after the Christmas Fayre and the winner announced in the New Year.  We have enjoyed a tremendous response to our competition this year and the results are so close the champion will be decided with the final quiz.  Good luck to all.
